Having been in the industry for so long we know Solar and Energy back to front:

As a Queensland based, family owned business, being in the Solar industry now for well over a decade, first as installers and evolving though solar retailers and energy efficiency advisors.

Part of that journey has been as an independent solar inspectors for many years both privately, for the Government as well as being actively involved in the Clean Energy Council advisory body and have seen many improvements in the Solar industry over that time. It still has some way to go with so many products out there and the number of installers growing nationally to meet the growing need, some really good and others not so much.
Our experience inspecting has shown there is definitely a need for a high level Solar Doctor service that focuses only on getting to the root cause of your system, fixing it, additionally ensuring your entire system will last 20-30 years.

Solar is an excellent idea for any home or business owner provided:
- it is installed properly
- it is properly setup for your needs and environment
- has good quality equipment and gear from the outset
- is installed in such a way that all the components will last the life of your panels, not just 4-8years then need replacing or worse damaging your system and house costing even more to repair
As an inspector I rarely see this combination leading to long term, successful outcomes, and that is OK because even though your system may not be up to par or performing as you would expect it tp there are options available to you.
